How might leadership archetypes support building community resilience in Melbourne's West?

The project focuses on building climate resilience from the ground up by partnering with Community Centres and Neighbourhood Houses to co-create local Climate Resilience Action Plans. As a learning partner, we are exploring to what extent leadership archetypes can help create a sense of agency in community leaders who do not always self-identify as 'leaders' because they do not relate with the type of leaders in positions of power. We are supporting through the design of the learning arc, co-creating workshop tools, supporting narrative building and relationship brokering.
Building on our foundational work on community leadership archetypes in 2025, our role in this project is as an embedded Learning Partner. This involves working with our community networks in the West and bringing partners together with our broader portfolio of work, including the Climate Change Exchange.
